Highlights from our August Hope and Healing High Tea
On Monday, 4 August 2025, Fierce Females hosted our inaugural Hope and Healing High Tea - a gentle yet powerful space for female-identifying individuals on the Gold Coast to reconnect, rebuild, and begin healing in community.
Thanks to the support of other organisations, our volunteers decorated and facilitated a beautiful high tea event that created a safe space for women to come and chat over a cup of tea.
Creating Space for Connection
The Hope and Healing High Tea is part of our ongoing commitment to preventing violence before it begins by fostering connection, confidence, and care within our community.
Each monthly event is:
Fully catered
Free to attend
Supported by an on-site facilitator
Equipped with free child supervision
Our August event welcomed a wonderful group of women to share stories, laughter, and moments of reflection.
A Special Thank You to Friends With Dignity
One of the highlights of this month’s event was connecting with Friends With Dignity, an organisation whose values and mission align beautifully with ours. We were honoured to welcome Founder and CEO Manuela Whitford and grateful for the generous donation of goodie bags for each of our guests.
These small acts of kindness have a big impact, and we look forward to continuing our relationship with your organisation.
What These Events Mean
Healing after violence isn’t linear, and it doesn’t happen in isolation. Our Hope and Healing High Teas are about creating gentle, community-led spaces where women feel safe, supported, and seen.
Sometimes it’s the simple things that mean the most. A warm cup of tea. A quiet space to breathe. A conversation with someone who just gets it.
These mornings are a chance to show up exactly as you are. They’re about connection, care, and the reminder that you don’t have to walk this journey alone.
